Gressenhall
Reception went on their first school trip to Gressenhall this Thursday. We met Fairytale characters, such as Cinderella and Jack. We helped them find their magical objects the Wicked Witch had stolen and had lots of fun on the farm… even the grown-ups had fun!
EYFS Big Toddle
This year Nursery and Reception took part in the Barnardo’s ‘Big Toddle’. Children and their grown-ups dressed up in Safari themed costumes and took part in different jungle themed activities. We raised £185 for the charity- so well done everyone!
Year 3 Jam Tarts!
Year 3 had a great afternoon sampling and tasting different jam tarts. They thought about the packaging, pastry and filling before giving it an overall rating. Next week, they are going to design and bake their very own!
Transition workshops in Year 6
Year 6 participated in some great workshops in support of their upcoming move to high school. Our visitors were very impressed by their contributions and maturity.
Year 3 Whitlingham Trip
Year 3 had a fantastic time at Whitlingham Adventure. They tried paddle boarding and canoeing and also completed many different team challenges. The children showed great grit and determination throughout the day and all were safe, ready and respectful. Well done Year 3!
Y4 Royal Norfolk Show
Year 4 had a fabulous day at the Royal Norfolk Show today. They all began in the Discovery Zone, learning about the production of sugar beet in Norfolk, from preparing the soil all the way to what the sugar is used for. This week, we have been exploring sun safety. In RHE, we have been learning about how to keep safe in the sun and the effects of UV rays.
