Cooking in Year 6

Year 6 have been busy preparing their Christmas treats…. we are all looking forward to treating our grown-ups on Thursday.

Year 1 Toy Café

Join the Year 1 team as they host a very special Toy Café. Listen as Mrs. Walden reads you a story and Miss Stephens shows you how to make your very own toy at home.

The activity should be done with parents/carers. Children will be coming home with resources (including the split pins) today (3rd December 2020).

Winter Windowland Challenge

Watch Mrs. Sheppard as she explains the Latest Molly and Jasper challenge.

Send in your submissions to hub@queenshill.norfolk.sch.uk, or post up on your home learning platform (Seesaw, Tapestry or Google Classroom)

Reception newsletter 20/11/20

Wow what an exciting few weeks we have had in Reception! Have a read of the newsletter to find out what we have been learning.

Here is the link to the RWI phonics website where you will find a useful audio guide of how to say each sound. https://home.oxfordowl.co.uk/reading/learn-to-read-phonics/

Traditional Tales

In Reception this half term we have been exploring traditional tales. The children have really enjoyed learning about The Three Little Pigs this week after finding sticks and straw in a taped off area of the playground. Miss Compton’s class even found wolf footprints heading towards their classroom door! The children have enjoyed creating pig masks to help with learning and retelling the story.
