Year 4 Outdoor Learning

This week lots of our Year 4 pupils have been creating shelters as part of their outdoor learning provision. They worked hard to develop their communication and construction skills. Take a look at the photos of what they have been up to!

Year 6 Writing Workshops

The week we have been inspired by Luke Temple’s writing workshops. In these pictures we are creating our own mutating mansions. We are really looking forward to writing some amazing stories! 

Reading in KS2

This term we’ve teamed up with Collins e-books to offer all year 5 and 6 pupils free access to the whole-range of banded books online. You should shortly find a sticker in your school diary, which will list your personal login details for the platform. Follow the video below, as Mr. Cross shows you how to login to the reading platform from home.

Year 3 celebrate Mental Health Day

This week we celebrated World Mental Health Day in Year 3. We had an interesting discussion about what ‘mental health’ means before creating a monster that has similar qualities to each child. Children then discussed similarities and differences in people’s qualities. 

Year 4 Science

In Science, Year 4 have been learning about states of matter and how the different states can change from one to another. Today we set up an experiment to show evaporation, condensation and precipitation.
