Dear pupils, family, friends and visitors
A very warm welcome to Queen’s Hill Primary and Nursery School. We are a large community school maintained by Norfolk County Council.
Our website aims to provide regular updated information for parents, pupils and our community. We hope that you find the information you are looking for and enjoy finding out more about our amazing school. You can find even more information by following our learning and community news on our twitter feed @qprimary.
Our aim is to nurture a “passion for learning” for all pupils through our creative, exciting and broad curriculum, alongside a rich programme of after-school clubs, trips and residentials. Our dedicated and experienced team aims to ensure that education is accessible and relevant to all our learners and where necessary support or challenge is targeted to help children to reach their potential. We respect each other and celebrate diversity and difference.
We have high expectations of staff and children alike and we do not put a limit on what can be achieved, both academically and in other fields such as sport, drama and music.
We recognise the importance of parents and carers as partners in their children’s learning journey and are very proud of the relationship we have with all of our families. We ask that parents or carers encourage and support their children’s learning by reading with them regularly and talking to them about the world in which we live.
Our community is hugely supportive and very involved in school life – we have an extremely active parent-teacher association called the Friends of Queen’s Hill Primary School, who work hard on whole school events and fundraising strategies for resources and equipment for the children.
We welcome visits to our school; please contact the school office who will be happy to arrange this for you. Our admissions are managed by Norfolk Children’s Services admissions team using the following link: Norfolk School Admissions
We hope that you find the information on our website helpful and informative and look forward to welcoming new joiners to our community.
